Evans Hunt is an advertising and marketing firm that does work for many esteemed clients and brands. They do beautiful work, and they brought us designs for two 10’ x 20’ Octanorm exhibits for their client, Husky Energy. The colors were bold, the message was direct, and they knew that we could help them deliver a quality product to their client. Our companies worked together to bring Husky an easy and seamless trade show experience.
Two different factions of the Husky company had each a 10’ x 20’ booth space in the APNA Truck Show in Abbotsford, British Colombia, and then in the Truck World expo in Mississauga, Ontario. We were tasked with printing and producing the two large exhibits along with managing the show bookings, rentals, shipping the displays across the country, show logistics, and installations. The brand ambassadors working in the booths simply had to arrive the day of the show, and everything was ready for them to go. Together with Evans Hunt, we even arranged for the Husky employees' sleeping arrangements.
We printed and built the exhibits here in Calgary and then had them shipped to each location, where we could install them before the show. Both booth designs featured a bold dark blue gradient that our print department pulled off without a hitch. The design looked great! Graphics were printed onto decals and then laminated and mounted onto Sintra panels that were then installed into the rental Octanorm frame. Each display featured monitor stands of differing variations—one with an attached literature rack and the other with a stylish and unique-looking stand coupled with an iPad stand. Power was coordinated to be wired into each booth space and have enough guts to power the monitors that Husky used for their digital messaging.
Working together with talented agencies is both fun and rewarding, and the project ended up being a huge success. Win-win for everyone involved!
