Over many years, we’ve partnered with the Alberta Champions Society to help bring their vision to life: honouring individuals whose leadership, vision, and contributions have helped shape the province. The vision was a series of stainless steel columns with custom graphics recognizing each award recipient. Each installation, whether in a busy public lobby or an open-air park, needed to be durable, accessible, and visually cohesive. The challenge was to design permanent displays that could adapt to vastly different environments while maintaining a unified visual identity and lasting impact.

The Solution
Thoughtful planning and close collaboration were key to each installation’s success. For outdoor sites, we worked directly with landscaping and construction teams early in the process — helping identify site conditions, reduce potential setbacks, and streamline timelines. Each display was built with longevity in mind, using weather-resistant materials, integrated lighting, and clean, consistent design elements that tied all locations together. The result is a series of enduring public installations that honour Alberta’s champions with clarity, care, and a strong sense of place.
