the project

Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts) sought out an upgraded reception space to capture the energy and creativity of their campus. Signage and wayfinding updates have also been added over the years to improve navigation, while infusing colour and creativity into multiple areas of the campus.

The Solution

We created a custom reception space that puts AUArts’ identity front and centre. The installation combines dimensional signage, integrated lighting, and branded graphics. A large-format vinyl mural featuring original artwork by Susan Zebedee adds interest and depth, while suspended acrylic welcome signs create clear navigation.

Across campus, a mix of permanent backlit directories and vinyl graphics enhance wayfinding, with the flexibility to update information as needed. This approach ensures the environment remains vibrant, functional, and reflective of AUArts’ creative spirit.
