the project

After undergoing a major renovation, the Calgary Humane Society required an outdoor donor recognition display and signage that would feel as thoughtful and welcoming as their updated space. It needed to reflect their refreshed brand and honour the generosity of their supporters in a way that was both lasting and deeply personal. Something that could live outdoors year-round while still offering a warm, heartfelt presence.

The Solution

We designed a collection of custom outdoor cedar pillars — each one a little different in height and width, creating a natural visual rhythm across the landscape. Stainless steel plaques and precision-cut vinyl lettering displayed donor names with clarity and care, while the mix of materials added both contrast and character. Built to handle Calgary’s ever-changing weather, the display is as durable as it is distinctive. Additional outdoor signage was positioned along the sidewalk to tie in the Humane Society's modern, friendly new space.
