City of Trail museum, interpretive & donor recognition exhibits
the project
The City of Trail opened the Trail Riverfront Centre as a new cultural hub, bringing together a library, visitor centre, and a museum and archive focused on local sports and regional history. We were brought on to design, fabricate, and install interpretive exhibits and a donor recognition wall throughout the Riverfront Centre. Following this work, the project expanded to include interpretive exhibits at the Trail Regional Airport, featuring an aviation history display and an interactive kids’ zone.
Together, these exhibits create engaging, accessible, and visually cohesive environments that reflect the identity and legacy of the Trail community.

What We Did
The Solution
Our team led the design, fabrication, and installation of all exhibit elements across the spaces. This included custom display cases and plinths for artifacts, large-scale wall graphics to share historical narratives, and dimensional lettering with halo lighting to highlight key areas.
A donor recognition wall was also created as a standout feature, inspired by Trail’s mining heritage. Layered forms and a curated colour palette reference local rock formations and ores, with textured materials that add a vintage, industrial character. From the museum to the airport, the exhibits work together to create a cohesive, welcoming, and educational experience.
