Coca-Cola Ink Studio Seacan Activation
the project
Exhibit Studio partnered with Momentum Worldwide to transform an empty seacan into a temporary tattoo studio for Coca-Cola during the Calgary Stampede. Visitors lined up for free airbrushed temporary tattoos and product samples, choosing from multiple designs.
Our role was to develop an immersive space that could host all the tattoo equipment and a sample station. We developed spatial designs and 3D renderings to turn a detailed vision into an executable build, all the way through to final delivery on-site.

What We Did
The Solution
This rental seacan was painted in Coca-Cola red inside and out, then built out in our shop. Removable magnetic track lighting lets the team position lighting exactly where it's needed, connected to on-site power. A hinged steel frame, welded to the top of the container, folds down for easy transport. The sign was also custom-made in-house with LED lighting and dimensional letters for high visibility at any hour on the midway.
Inside, modular wall frames hold branded wall panels, wainscotting, and a wire display with custom signage. We also produced dimensional gallery wall panels to create a layered, lived-in feel reminiscent of a tattoo parlour. Other details include magnetic full-length door graphic panels and "free temporary tattoos" signage. We printed and laminated seamless checkered floor graphics, which held up to tens of thousands of footsteps and routine cleaning throughout all 10 days of the Calgary Stampede.
What started as an empty container turned into a rodeo-themed branded space that drew lines all day, every day of the Stampede.
