GMC Custom Vehicle Displays at the Calgary Stampede
the project
Since 2013, we've partnered with Momentum Worldwide to bring vehicle displays and brand experiences to life for GMC at the Calgary Stampede. 2026 marked GMC's 40th year as a Stampede partner, which called for customized add-on vehicle displays for the parade route and Stampede grounds — plus supporting builds for their Stampede showcases.
The lineup included: a "full bull" parade truck outfitted with oversized horns, a nose ring, and a truck-bed saddle, several supporting "bull" trucks for static display, and a reimagined chuckwagon canopy topping a pyramid truck build.
With multiple vehicle types, locations, and installation dates to coordinate, the project needed a build solution durable enough for parade travel, repeatable across multiple units, and detailed enough for close-up presentation.

What We Did
The Solution
Exhibit Studio rendered and fabricated a full suite of custom truck toppers and accessories; the bull horns, nose, and nose ring were 3D printed in-house on our large-format FDM printer. These were hand-sanded and airbrushed to achieve a realistic hide and horn finish, before being mounted non-destructively to each truck's grille and roof rack. For the parade's lead vehicle, we built a plywood saddle stand assembly for the truck bed, secured with a safety-capped support tube and surrounded with hay bales to carry through the western theme. Wooden logs wrapped in rope finished the look along the truck box.
For the chuckwagon canopy, our team fabricated CNC-cut plywood arched frames topped with a custom-printed vinyl tarp featuring the GMC logo. Built to sit securely in the truck bed, the canopy paired with the bull trucks to form a pyramid-style structure at the GMC Stadium main site.
On the grounds, we also set up three outdoor satellite stages plus one indoor location inside GMC Stadium. Each satellite stage used rental inventory: a truss structure supporting a custom vinyl backdrop, secured with concrete blocks, cables, and straps. Rental flooring, freestanding signage, and barrel tables with branded umbrellas completed each setup.
In total, the fleet included six trucks and four satellite locations. Exhibit Studio managed fabrication, installation, and dismantle to deliver a cohesive presence for GMC throughout the Calgary Stampede.
