InceptionU Modular Gameshow Activation

As part of LobbyFest, InceptionU and Firecracker Strategies launched Are You Ready?, a public gameshow-style activation designed to spark ideas about Calgary’s future. The goal was to create a modular, engaging game that encouraged participants to reflect on possibility for themselves and for the city. With a multi-day schedule and rotating venues, the setup also had to be lightweight, portable, and quick to assemble each day.
What We Did
The Solution
A lightweight beMatrix hexagonal rental frame was used to feature creative design and portability. A functional doorway leads to internal storage, while doubling as an interactive reveal space for prizes. Magnetic wall graphics made setup fast, along with a printed fabric canopy that boosted visibility from the upper floors and escalators. Branded floor decals anchored the footprint, giving the activation a defined space in busy areas. This professional yet playful activation sparked curiosity and participation, moving efficiently from one location to the next.
