
Meta X Best Buy Brand Activation

To showcase the Meta Quest VR headset, Meta and Best Buy partnered with Vibrant Marketing to create an interactive pop-up experience at West Edmonton Mall. The goal was to stop shoppers in their tracks and invite them to try VR for themselves, turning a high-traffic retail space into a fully immersive, hands-on demo zone during the holiday rush leading up to Christmas.



What We Did
The Solution
A modular, open-concept island display was built using beMatrix frames and custom fabric graphics. The structure formed an X-shaped footprint with four partitioned VR demo zones, each spotlighting a different experience. Custom details helped boost engagement: a neon-style Gaming Zone LED sign added glow and energy, a branded rental counter kept things organized and created a space for conversations, and a boxing glove wall was a playful touch. Set up over a single weekend, the pop-up drew crowds, sparked curiosity, and gave holiday shoppers a memorable first look at what the Meta Quest could do.
