Mitchell's Bacon Battle Custom Event Displays
the project
Mitchell’s Bacon Battle, hosted during Cochin Days and organized by Fuse Create, invited radio listeners to submit their best bacon-inspired recipes. The top contenders went head-to-head in a live cook-off judged by a panel. The event needed a strong visual presence and award to match the energy of the competition. From custom trophies to branded displays, every detail had to feel fun, unique, and worth showing up for.

What We Did
The Solution
To bring the battle to life, we fabricated a custom-welded, gold-plated trophy. This was set on top of a walnut-stained maple base, and finished with a laser-cut engraved plaque. A freestanding dinner bell, built from iron and mounted on a cedar post, featured a wood-burned laser engraving. For event branding, we produced an 8-foot fabric Wavetube backdrop and custom tablecloth. Four 8.5-foot-tall blade flags were also produced, equipped with wind-resistant hardware to ensure durability on-site.
“I’ve been working with Exhibit for over 4 years and Dave and team continue to go above and beyond. I would recommend Exhibit to anyone looking for great customer service and incredible work. Always my first call.”
