United Active Living Residential Wayfinding
the project
United Active Living's Garrison Green is a senior living community in Calgary, home to residents across four floors. To refresh the interior signage, they needed a suite-identification and wayfinding system that could guide the way through the community with a warm, homelike feel.
Working from a concept created by Bond Creative, the signage system needed to identify resident suites, give clear floor directions at every decision point, and tie the whole system together as a single visual family.

What We Did
The Solution
Working from Bond Creative's concept, we laid out the graphics for all 122 signs. We used white acrylic panels, faced with faux wood vinyl — hand-trimmed for precision. For the logos, contrasting die-cut vinyl was applied to all panels.
Dimensional acrylic numbers and accent bars run across the bottom of every sign. These elements were laser-cut and painted, matching the colour-coding assigned by floor level. Directional signs anchor each elevator landing, with secondary double-sided additions for the lobby.
The result is a fully coordinated wayfinding system: clear at every turn, warm in every detail, and intuitive enough to read at a glance.
