
Westjet Experiential Midway Game

WestJet came to us with a fresh spin on a midway classic: instead of racing horses, why not race mini airplanes? The idea was to capture the excitement of the fair with a photo-ready, branded twist that drew crowds in with flashing lights, music, and prizes. The goal was to connect stampede-goers to the Westjet brand with some memorable, friendly competition.



What We Did
The Solution
With just six weeks to pull it off, our team sourced a vintage carnival trailer all the way from Michigan and transformed it into a branded midway game. We outfitted it with bold WestJet graphics, dynamic lighting, upbeat music, and custom lanes for 14 mini airplanes to race head-to-head with this twist on a classic ski ball game. For 10 days at Stampede, crowds lined up to play for prizes and daily flight giveaways, which quickly became a standout on the Midway. In 2025, we gave the setup new life with refreshed graphics for the lanes, trailer exterior, and chair bases to keep this fan favourite looking sharp.
