
Westjet Experiential Phone Booth Activation

To promote their new flight route between Calgary and London, UK, WestJet wanted to catch Calgarians off guard in the best way possible. They set up a classic English phone booth in three downtown locations and let it ring. Out of the thousands who walked by, 10 lucky passersby answered the call. Each walked away with two round-trip tickets to London. A simple phone booth turned into an unforgettable surprise that had the whole city talking.



What We Did
The Solution
To make it happen, we sourced an authentic K6 telephone booth straight from England and gave it a fresh coat of WestJet’s signature teal. Our team handled the electrical and audio setup to get the phone ringing and coordinated the logistics to safely transport the 1,650 lb. booth between busy city spots. An ordinary street corner was transformed into an attention-grabbing moment that brought WestJet’s brand (and a bit of London) right to Calgary’s downtown core.
